The Malvern Hills Community Foundation has been created to serve a wide range of charitable need across the whole of the Malvern Hills and surrounding territory.

The objective is to hold significant resources in trust (an endowment) which will earn an income that can then be distributed.

No such local funds exist on the scale currently envisaged, and the nearest real examples, with a distinct geographical focus, are in Evesham and Worcester respectively.

A Community Foundation covering the Malvern Hills is a very important development that deserves the fullest support of the population and represents an essential way of expressing a method of supporting the widest range of vulnerable and needy in our communities into the future.
